Matt graduated in Fine Art and spent his early career in brand and packaging design. He joined the fledgling new media revolution in the mid nineties working in online publishing before moving into headhunting in 1999 when he joined Europe’s first specialist digital recruitment company. He spent the next 5 years helping build emerging channel businesses, working with venture capitalists and management consultancies in a strategic and search capacity.
In 2004 he became the first digital specialist at the advertising search firm Kendall Tarrant and in 2007 was promoted to the board as Global Head of Digital Talent, working between the firm’s London New York and San Francisco offices. In 2008 Matt and his business partner Andrew Wardlaw, set up Congregation Partners as a full-service consultancy offering change strategy, knowledge development, talent acquisition and partnership to brands and agencies looking to evolve their output in-line with the evolution in digital communications.
